  • Boards under every contact point on delivery
  • The exact all-in total on screen before payment

Why quotes elsewhere come in higher or vaguer

A lot of dumpster pricing in Connecticut runs through brokers reselling someone else's trucks, or through quote forms that turn a simple number into a callback. Both add margin, and neither prints the tonnage line, which is where most surprise charges live.

Summit is one local yard at 81 Munson St in Milford with its own trucks, so the rates fit in one table and stay there. No hidden fuel-surcharge surprises either: the fuel and processing fees are itemized on the booking screen, inside the total you approve before your card is charged.

“Summit Carting was the easiest part of the project. They came on time, they were reasonable with the rates, and very professional. I have a tricky driveway; it was no issue. They were wonderful to work with.”

Cost questions, answered

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in CT?

With Summit: $399 for a 12 yard, $599 for a 20, $799 for a 30, flat. Each rate includes delivery, pickup, the rental window (5 to 7 days by size), and 1 to 3 tons of disposal. Your exact all-in total for your town shows at booking before payment.

Are there hidden fees?

No. The flat rate plus your town fuel recovery fee and processing fee are itemized on the booking screen inside the total you approve before your card is charged. The only charges that can come later are ones you cause: extra days or tonnage over the allowance, at the posted rates.

What happens if I go over the weight limit?

Every load is weighed at the disposal facility. Tonnage past the included amount bills at $160 per ton after pickup, off the real scale ticket. If you think the load will run heavy, call ahead and we will help you plan the size.

How much is an extra day?

$10 per day, posted up front. The 12 yard includes 5 days and the 20 and 30 include 7, so most projects never touch the extra-day rate at all.

Is same-day delivery extra?

No. Call before noon and same-day delivery is frequently possible at the same flat rate; next-day is the standard on online bookings. Speed comes from the yard being local, not from a surcharge. See the same-day page for how it works.

The dumpster can be there tomorrow.
